<p>PURPOSE:To obtain high oxygen dissolving efficiency by eliminating the accumulation of sludge to a tank bottom, by improving the position of a baffle plate in an aeration tank, the size of each of air diffusion apparatuses and the number thereof. CONSTITUTION:A baffle plate 2 is vertically provided in a deep aeration tank 1, of which the water depth H and the tank width are respectively 10m at a position where an air diffusion side occupies 1/2-3/4 of the entire area of the aeration tank 1 and an air non-diffusion side occupies 1/4-1/2 thereof. Further, a large number of air diffusion apparatuses 5 are arranged in the aeration tank 1 of the air diffusion side 3 at a position with a water depth of 4-5m in an almost uniformly dispersed state. The air diffusion apparatuses 5 are constituted by arranging ceramic porous air diffusion plates having a max. air void diameter of 260 mum or less so as to attach the same to holders 7 and an effective expansion area is brought to 150-400cm<2> per one plate 6 while said apparatuses 5 are arranged in such a number that the sum total of effective expansion areas occupies 3-15% of the entire area. By this constitution, max oxygen dissolving effiency can be obtained.</p> |
