The invention relates to a slinging device formed from a number of slinging units provided in particular with a reversible blower pipe 14, each unit comprising a rotor 2 provided with two or more blades 1, a motor 3 which drives the rotor, and a rotor housing 4. The slinging solution provides a great working width with retained efficiency and versatility. According to the invention, the slinging devices are positioned in a stepped manner next to one another, the adjacent slinging units 15 then not being in the way of one another when the blower pipes 14 are reversed, and the snow not being accumulated in the throwing direction on the underlying structures.
