The present invention relates to a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine. The cylinder head is produced by moulding and comprises a chamber 9 containing a cooling liquid connected to an outer face F of the cylinder head 2 through a duct 11 for conveying the cooling liquid into the chamber 9 and is characterised in that the duct 11 is inserted when the cylinder head 2 is cast.
