<p>PURPOSE:To decrease mercury contained in exhaust gas by a method which is low in treatment cost and simple by adding arsine sulfide in washing water and reducing mercury ion contained in the washing water. CONSTITUTION:Mercury-contg. exhaust gas such as gas generated in case of sintering copper sulfide ore and in the treatment of a waste dry cell is washed with washing water contg. sulfuric acid in a Venturi scrubber. In this case, while reducing mercury ion contained in the washing water by adding arsine sulfide in the washing water, the mixture is circulated and used as the washing water. In case of treating Hg contained in SO2-contg. gas, sulfuric acid low in mercury concn. is obtained in post-process.</p> |
