The invention relates to an electric switch of the type comprising a mobile pusher member forming an actuation member. This switch comprises a device 8 for protecting the pusher member 5, which includes a tip 9 advantageously of metal and able to be arranged on the free actuation end of the pusher member 5 and a member 10 for supporting the switch in a support structure, which surrounds at least the part 4 of the casing 2 containing the pusher member 5 and possesses an external part provided with a passage through which the said tip 9 is extended outwards, whilst being guided. The tip 9 comprises at its internal end a widening, advantageously annular 12, for retaining inside the support member 10. The invention is applicable to switches having to be protected against destructive external forces. <IMAGE>
