PURPOSE:To prevent an erroneous image from being formed by making an original cover opened in two stages and returning an image forming condition to an initial state when the original cover is opened to the 2nd stage. CONSTITUTION:When the original cover 5 is closed, the surface (a) of the notched part 61 of a shaft 60 is made to correspond to a pressing member 62. When the cover 5 is little opened, the surface (b) is made to correspond to the member 62 and the cover 5 is fixed at the opening position of the 1st stage. When the cover 5 is opened more, the surface (c) is made to correspond to the member 62 and the cover 5 is fixed at the opening position of the 2nd stage. When the cover 5 is at the opening position of the 2nd stage, a detector 63 is turned on by an arm 5a fixed to the cover 5. Thus, erroneous copying is prevented from occurring, because the initial state is obtained just by opening the cover 5 to the position of the 2nd stage. |
