<p>PURPOSE:To effectively remove hydrazine, by performing continuous treatment while the contacts of activated carbon with hydrazine-containing water and air are alternately performed at every set time. CONSTITUTION:Hydrazine-containing raw water is flowed into a hydrazine decomposition tank 1 from a raw water inflow pipe 3 and treated water is discharged from a treated water outflow pipe 4. A large number of rotary discs 2 are provided in the hydrazine decomposition tank 1 so as to be attached to a rotary shaft 5 and the lower parts of the discs are rotated in a state immersed in hydrazine-containing water. As each of the rotary discs 12, one prepared by covering a disc shaped support with cloth comprising an activated carbon fiber, one formed by applying activated carbon fiber molded into a honeycomb shape to said support or one formed by applying the powdery activated carbon to said support is used. Hydrazine-containing water is contacted with a large number of the discs having activated carbon mounted thereto and discharged at last as treated water reduced in the concn. of hydrazine.</p> |
