PURPOSE:To improve mounting strength of a glass run on the outer end side of a door sash part, by a method wherein an engaging projection, formed integrally with a glass run body, is engaged with and locked in an engaging recess in the door sash part. CONSTITUTION:A glass run body 17 is engaged with and held in a glass run mounting part 4 of a door sash part 3, and a seal part 18, brought into resilient contact with an edge 1C of a door glass 1, is extended from the body 17. An engaging projection part 23 is formed on a juncture 22 for integrally interconnecting a drip mole seal lip 19 and a seal part 18, and the engaging projection part 23 is engaged with an engaging recess part 24 formed in an outer end 3a of the door sash part 3. Such engaging and holding enable improvement of the mounting strength of a glass run 2 on the outer end 2a side of the door sash part 3 and the mounting strength of the lip 19 to the sash part 3. |
