PURPOSE:To damp each vibration in both vertical and axial rectangular directions so favorably by using a vibration transmissibility abating action at a time when a fluid passes through an orifice or the like by receiving its resistance, jointly in addition to a vibration damping action by elasticity of a vibrationproof base body. CONSTITUTION:A core fitting 1 is clamped to a car body 18, and an outer casing fitting 2 is surrounded concentrically with this core fitting 1, while a toroidal vibrationproof base body 3 is installed interposingly between these elements. In addition, an elastic film 4 is set up in space between both the fittings 1, 2, and thereby a liquid chamber 9 is formed. Moreover, a partition body 5, partitioning off this chamber into two upper and lower chambers 9A, 9B, is set up in the liquid chamber 9, and this partition body 5 is formed of a partition ring 10 with an orifice 13, a press-in ring 11 and a rubber plate 12. When vibration out of a road surface is transmitted to a suspension member 19, each volumetric capacity of each of the two upper and lower chambers 9A, 9B is changed, and a liquid 17 is made to flow through the orifice 13 in a reversible manner. With this constitution, utilizing viscosity inherent in the liquid 17, a good damping effect is thus secured. |
