PURPOSE:To keep off the worsening or riding quality by stopping any control by a suspension control means at time of constant speed running, in a device which changes a suspension characteristic in controlling the feed or exhaust of a hydraulic fluid for a cylinder unit installed between sprung weight and unsprung weight. CONSTITUTION:A suspension system installs a cylinder unit A in space between sprung weight and unsprung weight, and controls the feed or exhaust of a hydraulic fluid for this cylinder unit A through a flow control means B which is controlled by a suspension control means C on the basis of a specified suspension control characteristic preset. In this case, operation is started by manual control, and at the time of such a vehicle as provided with a constant speed drive unit D in which a car speed is controlled so as to maintain the designated car speed, when this constant speed drive unit D is operated, any control by the suspension control means C is made so as to be stopped by a stoppage means E. |
