PURPOSE: To make the structure robust and to provide a filter medium suitable for filtration of a suspension contg. extremely fine particles by embedding a filter membrane on either side in a fabric structure acting as a supporting/ protective structure. CONSTITUTION: The filter membrane 10 consisting of an ultra-microporous material is embedded into at least one fabric structures 11, 12 acting as the supporting/protective structure. The filter membrane 10 is so formed as to have openings smaller than 10μ. Consequently, the robust structure is obtd. and the filter medium is made suitable for filtration of the suspension contg. the extremely fine particles.
