Variable gas flow device for gas sensor - uses connection pipe coupled to press point ensuring pressure difference at sensor input

The gas flow device uses a tap-off point (13) exhibiting a variable overpressure or reduced pressure. This connected via a tube (12) to the pressure sensor (6) which is located within the exhaust flue from a gas burner for a room heating system. The tube is connected to the sensor (6) to obtain a pressure difference at the pressure sensor input (9) which ensures a pressure flow through the sensor (6). Pref. the room heater (2) is supplied via a fan (5) rotating at a constant rate. A throttle plate (14) controls the air flow rate. The connection pipe (12) for the sensor being coupled to a point (13) on the suction side of the fan (5). ADVANTAGE - Eliminates need for any rotating points.
