PURPOSE:To efficiently remove metal ions by treating the generated water and steam with a cation remover, and then treating the water and steam successively with a decarbonization tower and a mixed bed. CONSTITUTION:The weakly acidic cathode waste gas condensed water contg. ionic metal components and CO2 and gaseous fuel condensed water are supplied to a cation bed 20 from a cathode waste condensed water line 10 and a fuel gas condensed water line 11. The metal ions are removed by an ion-exchange reaction. Although CO2 is not removed in the cation bed 20 and recovered in a raw water tank 1, the CO2 is easily removed in the decarbonization tower 4 as the pH lowers. The condensed water recovered in the raw water tank 1 is sent to a filter 3 in which metallic particles are removed, and then sent to the decarbonization tower 4 is which CO2 is removed. The condensed water is then treated with the mixed bed 6 to obtain pure water. |
