PURPOSE:To automatically measure excavating depth even in case when an excavating attachment has been added, by counting the extent of movement of a winch rope by use of an up-and-down counter. CONSTITUTION:A pulse signal generated following a movement of a winch rope for moving up and down an excavating attachement is counted by an up-and- down counter 6. Contents of this counter 6, that is to say, the excavating depth are latched in order to a display register 9 by a latch signal from a comparing part 11, and after that, is displayed on a display part 10. When adding the attachment, the length L1 of its attachment is added to the counter 6, and also an input of the latch signal is inhibited. Subsequently, the excavation advances, and when the contents of the counter 6 have coincided with contents of the register 9, the latch signal is inputted, and the excavating depth is displayed in order on the display part 10. In this way, even in case when the attachment has been added, the excavating depth can be measured automatically. |
