The invention relates to a device for storing parts (7) of approximately the same shape and size at a spacing from one another, in particular for storing metal sheets or sheet-metal parts, with a number of stacking columns (6) which have receiving elements (8) in each case arranged one above the other for the parts (7) to be stored. In addition to the receiving elements (8), holding-down elements (10) are also provided, which can be brought into a working position which fixes the parts (7) and a rest position guaranteeing unimpeded insertion and removal. If the device is made in the form of a transport frame (1), it is expedient to provide suitable means (21, 28), via which the holding-down elements (10) can be brought automatically out of their working position or into their rest position during positioning of the transport frame (1) in its loading or unloading position. Using the device according to the invention, the danger of damage (e.g. paintwork defects) of the parts (7) during their transport can be effectively prevents (Fig. 1).
