The container (1) for storing rainwear, esp. on bikes is made from cloth or plastics and can be secured on the bicycle. The container is closable and is also detachable and can be secured by a lock. A light (5) can be integrated into the container and the container can be fitted at various points on the vehicle. The rain cover and container can be one integral unit. Where a light is provided this can be detachable. USE/ADVANTAGE - The illuminated rain cover acts as a safety feature and the rain cover can be readily carried around.
