Propeller fan

Figure 1 of the attached drawing set relates to the development of the propeller fan as is described in the Main Application P 3734624.5-22. A preferred feature of this development is that the flow guidance body 1 which coaxially surrounds the connecting spar 19 but is partially open is designed such that it can pivot in that the struts 2, which are connected to it, are mounted according to the detail E such that they can rotate in the gas outlet housing 5. The vertical thrust vector KV can in this case be displaced as far as the horizontal so that it is then parallel to the pitch axis and thus ensures maximum lateral acceleration of an aircraft. The suspension of the propeller fan between the first and the second mainplanes 17 and 18 requires a capability to compensate for thermally dependent length changes of the front and rear fan stators 12 and 13. This is done by means of a pin 20, which is fitted displaceably in the front fan stator 12 according to the detail D and to whose streamlined pin head 29 the lower holder 14, which is fastened to the mainplane 17, is firmly connected. <IMAGE>
