Through-flow lock for flexible tubes

There is described a through-flow lock (1) for tubes (4) of a flexible material, especially tubes for peristaltic infusion pumps and infusion regulators, in which the clamping device (14) comprises two opposite, rotatably mounted clamping jaws (2a and 2b) which are in mutual engagement under the action of a spring (3) such that the clamping device for insertion of the tube (4) is engaged in the open position by actuation of one clamping jaw (2b) (direction of arrow A), and the clamping device (14) is disengaged by closing the closure of the infusion pump by actuation of the other clamping jaw (2a) (direction of arrow B), but is retained in the open position. In order to protect the clamping device against the effects of infusion and disinfectant solutions, the clamping jaws are covered by a flexible protective film (5) to the outside. <IMAGE>
