The invention concerns a device for portioning and kneading pieces of dough, with a rotatably mounted drum (5) which is driven so that it rotates continuously and which has several openings (12) which hold the dough to be kneaded. Located above the drum is a kneading tool (39) which comprises an endless belt which passes over two guide rollers (59, 60), but at a distance (a) from the periphery (40) of the drum (5). The belt (58) is mounted on a support (61) which is mounted in turn on a shaped-section shaft (64) in a frame (1) in such a way that the belt can move in the shaft longitudinal direction and is driven to carry out a reciprocating motion. The belt (58) executes a circular motion so that it carries out a kneading action on the pieces of dough held in the openings (12). Since the belt moves with the drum (5), a long period of time is available to carry out the kneading action. |
