发明名称 TWO-COLOR THERMOSENSITIVE RECORDING MATERIAL
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a color developed image of high two-color separability free from cracking of a decoloring layer by using a specific compound expressed by a formula as a decoloring agent in the decoloring layer and at the same time, using a hydrophobic polymer and a water-soluble polymer as the binder of a high-temperature color developing layer. CONSTITUTION:In a two-color thermosensitive recording material of a high-temperature color developing layer, a decoloring layer and a low-temperature color developing layer formed on a support, a compound expressed by a formula (1) is used as a decolorant of the decoloring layer and also a hydrophobic polymer and a water-soluble polymer are jointly used as the binder of the high-temperature color developing layer. The preferable amount of hydrophobic polymer used is 30 to 90% by weight of the total amount of a binder used, and the more preferable amount is 40% by weight. Especially the most optimal amount to 50 to 80% by weight. If the amount for use in not more than 30% by weight, an adequate efficiency cannot be obtained. If the amount exceeds 90% by weight, the coating uniformity decreases resulting in the impossibility of obtaining adequate two-color separability. Therefore, if the amount of hydrophobic polymer used is 30 to 90% by weight of the total amount of binder, a two-color thermosensitive recording material has superior two-color separability without any cracks in the decoloring layer.
