PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a toner coat on a specific critical surface by forming a flicker cover with a material having a certain critical surface energy. CONSTITUTION:Toner cleaned with fur brushes 4 and 4' in contact with the image carrier 1 collides with the flicker bars 6 and 6' to be struck down from the bars, and scattered in housings 5 and 5'. Since the flicker bars 6 and 6' are made of the material with the critical surface energy below 30dyne/cm, the critical surface energy of the toner is approximately 30dyne/cm even if the fur brush rolls 4 and 4' collide, whereby the toner will not fuse on the surface. Thus the toner coat will not occur on the surface of the flicker bar, thereby obtaining an excellent cleaning property for a long time. |
