PURPOSE:To contrive the improvement of an image quality by improved the luminance and the contrast by forming a color filter layer, and thereafter, sticking transparent powder which can be heated and melted, and heating this powder. CONSTITUTION:A color filter layer 10 is formed on a transparent substrate by printing, meltable resin powder 12 is stuck onto a color filter layer 10, the powder 12 is melted by heating, and a smooth transparent resin layer 14 is formed on the surface of a color filter. In this case, the sticking method for the powder 12 is to stick it precisely, and also, to embed the powder into a recessed part of irregularity on the surface efficiently. Also, as for the powder 12, that which can be melted at a temperature of <= about 200 deg.C, and also, has transparency required for a color filter for a liquid crystal display device is measured. In such a way, the luminance and the contrast are improved and the improvement of an image quality is contrived. |
