PURPOSE:To obtain a voice data where a high-order prescribed bit of a B mode voice data is corrected by providing a decoder setting the high-order bit of the B mode voice data in response to a sign bit. CONSTITUTION:A B-mode coded signal is converted into a voice data of parallel 16-bit by an S/P converting circuit 2 via a decoding circuit 1 and also fed to a decoding circuit 4. Voice data 2SB-5SB from the converter 2 and a ragne bit from the decoding circuit 4 are fed to a decoder 5. On the other hand, the sign bit outputted from the converter 2 is converted into an n-bit parallel data by an S/P converter 8, and when the parallel data are all logical ''1'' or ''0'', a low level is outputted from a polarity consecution discriminating circuit 9. Thus, when an output from the circuit 9 is at a low level and also no duplicate error exists in the range code, the decoder output is selected, and when the error exists, the 2SB-5SB from the S/P converter 2 are selected. |
