Lubricating oil composition comprises 2-60 wt.% reaction product of a 16-24C dibasic acid with a piperazine compound, lubricating oil and emulsifier. The reaction product is produced by reacting 0.5-10 mol. piperazine compound with 1 mol. 16-24C dibasic acid at room temperaure to 200 deg.C for 5-120 mins.. The oil is used for lubricating sliding surfaces and metal working.
