PURPOSE:To obtain the ultrasonic wave linear-motor of high energy efficiency by fitting a pair of oscillating elements oscillating in the directions crossed at tilt angles equal to each other, on an oscillating member, and by butting a driven body to be relatively moved in the direction crossed over an axial line to the oscillating member, to one end of the oscillating member. CONSTITUTION:When alternating currents of phases different from each other by 90 degrees, namely, a sine wave and a cosine wave, are applied to vertical oscillating elements 3, then the oscillation is transmitted to an oscillating member 2, and by component in parallel with the axial line of the oscillating member, vertical oscillation is applied to the oscillating member 2, and by component vertical to the axial line of the oscillating member 2, flexible oscillation is applied to it. The oscillation is turned into standing wave oscillation according to the oscillation characteristic of the oscillating member 2, namely, oscillation having nodes and loops at fixed positions in the axial line direction, and at the lower end of the oscillating member 2, the combined oscillation of these oscillations is applied. The combined oscillation is turned into elliptic oscillation. |
