A quartz infrared radiator comprises a housing (1) containing at least one heating element (2), electrical connections (3), plug-in connections (4, 5) on the rear face of the housing, and a heat-resistant, insulating mounting (6) for the heating element. To obtain a simpler, cheaper quartz infrared radiator, the heat-resistant, insulating mounting (6) contains a space (7) which houses at least a part of a plug-in connection (5) and has at least one opening for the passage of part of a plug-in connection (5) which is not housed in the space (7) and which projects from the housing (1). |
