PURPOSE:To execute reading in conformity to a reading plan determined beforehand by reading out sentence data successively from a storage medium, and stopping the readout of the data when coincidence between the address of a stopping position and the address of the sentence data is detected. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a stopping position storage circuit 6 to store the address of the stopping position inputted by a stopping position setting means 5, a coincidence detection circuit 7 to detect the coincidence between the stored address of the stopping position and the address of the sentence data to be read out from the storage medium, a control circuit 3 which reads out the sentence data successively from the storage medium in a sentence automatic feeding mode and stops the readout of the sentence data from the storage medium when the coincidence is detected by the coincidence detection circuit 7, and a display part 8 to perform display based on the sentence data read out from the storage medium. Thus, reading can be carried forward systematically, and the delay and the overreading of the reading plan can be prevented. |
