PURPOSE:To solve the intricacy of a user by paying using charges to using objects having different operation systems with the use of the same card-shaped paying medium. CONSTITUTION:When the card-shaped paying medium, in which the shape and storage area are normalized and, simultaneously, a pay information is stored in the storage area, is inserted into a charge paying machine 1 of one side, a card processing means 22 in the charge paying machine 1 fetches the paying medium under the control of a control means 18, simultaneously, an account settling processing is executed between using charge information according to the operation system sent from a storing means 23 and an amount information obtained from the paying medium, and thereafter, the paying medium is discharged. Also when the same paying medium is inserted into a charge paying machine 40 of the other side, the charge paying machine 40 executes the same action as in the case of the charge paying machine 1. Thus, the charge paying to the using objects in the different operation systems can be executed with one sheet of the paying medium, and the intricacy can be solved. |
