<p>A molecular model of the interaction of various non β-lactam antibiotics with the active site of a penicillin receptor has been developed so that it is now possible to predict the ''fit'' and ''reactivity'' of potential antibacterial compounds with this receptor. Novel structural types and compounds are defined.</p> |
