<p>PURPOSE:To monitor the field of view in a specified area without a dead zone in a distinguished manner, by providing the difference in steps on neighboring light receiving surfaces so that the light receiving surfaces are contacted or overlapped one another when a plurality of infrared-ray detecting elements are viewed from the direction of the field of sight, and arranging the elements in a one-dimensional or two-dimensional mode. CONSTITUTION:Infrared-ray detecting elements 11 are stuck to a ceramic substrate 14, on which the difference in steps is provided, one by one. A Nichrome electrode is evaporated on the entire surface of an infrared-ray receiving part. At the back surface, the elements are fixed by using a conductive bonding agent between the ceramic substrate 14 and the elements, and electric conduction is provided. Grounding electrodes of all the elements are consolidated into a common electrode on the ceramic substrate 14.</p> |
