Fixing device for facing tiles - has vertical thin-walled box section holder with tile gap-filling intermediate profile extension

The arrangement is for fixing relatively small-size facing tiles to a building wall. It involves a system of vertical thin-walled box cross section holder elements (14) fitted at distances smaller than the width of the tiles (5). At suitable levels each holder element is fitted with a supporting hook element designed to hold in place the tiles (5) by their suitably designed top- and bottom edges. The tiles are distanced horizontally from each other forming vertical gaps (8) which are filled by a width-adjustable profile (6) fixed to the wall. USE/ADVANTAGE - By arranging the load-bearing profiles vertically material saving is achieved by using thin-walled profiles.
