<p>This invention relates to a rear dump car having a sieving apparatus of a compulsive vibration type for classifying by size granular cargo at the front part of a cargo box, said apparatus being disposed at the rear part of the cargo box capable of moving up and down, and a sieve undercargo room inside the cargo box at the lower rear part of the sieving apparatus. The present invention relates also to a transportation method of granular cargo using the rear dump truck. This rear dump truck (3) is equipped with a hopper (32) for accepting the granular cargo at the front part of the cargo box and a feeder (35) for feeding out the cargo to the rear part of the cargo box, at the bottom of the hopper. A power gate apparatus (36) for controlling the passage of the cargo is disposed at the outlet of the feeder apparatus and the sieving apparatus (33) of the compulsive vibration type for classifying the granular cargo flowing down through the power gate apparatus in accordance with their sizes is disposed at the rear part of the cargo box. At the time of landing of the granular cargo that has been transported by other transportation means such as ships, the granular cargo is directly loaded to the front part of the cargo box of the rear dump truck and transported by it. Before the granular cargo is unloaded from the rear dump truck at the destination, the classification work by the sieving apparatus is effected and the granular cargo is unloaded in accordance with the classified sizes at the destination.</p> |
