<p>A pure Factor I protein essentially free of infectious virus, Factor B and C3. The protein is derived from plasma and pasteurized by heating to a temperature of 50 to 65°C for 0.5 to 100 hours in the presence of one or more stabilizers for Factor I. Preparations containing the protein are useful in the treatment of Factor I deficiency and autoimmune diseases.</p> |
