A method and a device for taking into account positional inaccuracies in the position measurement of circular-cylindrical bearing points which are present at different angular positions on a rotor to be balanced for components encumbered with masses, especially in a crankshaft, in which, to obtain a correction value, apart from the radius deviations at the individual bearing points, the radius deviations of the bearing point locked in a measuring bearing are also taken into account.
