PURPOSE:To provide a bottomed double tube of ceramic having a sufficiently large mechanical strength by forming an inner and an outer cylinder in a single piece through a support, drying and baking this bottomed double tube of ceramic with one end of outer cylinder sealed, and by gringing the outer cylinder and at least part of the support for a certain length from the open end. CONSTITUTION:Using a base metal as specified, a ceramic double tube consisting of an inner and an outer cylinder and a support consolidated is formed by means of extrusion from a material prepared by adding a binder to a specified ceramic material, for ex. Zr powder. A separately prepared tip mode of the same material is adhered to one end of this double tube using slurry, etc., and thus the tip is sealed. This molding is dried, and either the whole or part of the support and outer cylinder this dried object are ground for a specified length from the open end. Finally the dried object after grinding is baked to accomplish a bottom-equipped double tube of ceramic. |
