PURPOSE:To improve vibration and shock resistance by supporting one end of a ladder structure by one spherical bearing having the degree of freedom capable of sliding in the axial direction of a laser tube while the other end is supported by two spherical bearings oppositely faced mutually while holding the axis of the laser tube. CONSTITUTION:The outer rings of two spherical bearings 6 are fixed to an end plate A 4 at one end of a ladder structure 13 for housing a gas laser tube 1 and holding cavity length constant, and each inner ring is fastened to a housing 8 through a bracket A 7. The outer ring of one spherical bearing 9 is fixed to an end plate B 5 forming another end. When external force is applied to the housing and the housing is expanded and contracted, bending moment generated as reaction by the spherical bearings 6 and the spherical bearing 9 with a sleeve 10 is denied in the ladder structure 13 while expansion and contraction in the axial direction are denied by the sliding of the sleeve 10 and a shaft 11. Accordingly, the position of an optical axis is held stably, and output variation is improved, thus enhancing vibration and shock resistance. |
