<p>A method of obtaining a composition material for cutting instruments, hard alloy tooling, dies and other articles comprises the preparation of a mix charge, its compacting, placing it in a synthesis zone and its ignition followed by reaction between the mix charge components in a burning regime. After that the hot products are matured for 0.1 sec to about 0.5 hour and compacted at an average pressure rise of 10 to about 2,000 kg/cm2 with subsequent holding of the compacted product under isobaric conditions until complete homogenization of the material, followed by its cooling and thus obtaining the desired composition product.</p> |
