A loudspeaker enclosure with a front area, a rear area which is essentially parallel thereto, two essentially parallel side areas, a bottom and a top area, a loudspeaker allocated to the front area and a sound exit opening provided in the front area is described. In this arrangement, three sound reflection areas extending from one side area to the other side area are provided within the loudspeaker enclosure. The first sound reflection area is constructed to be inclined from the top area towards the rear area, the second reflection area is arranged between the rear area and the bottom area and the third reflection area extends parallel to the second reflection area, forming a rectangular sound duct, the third reflection area resting with its front edge against the top end edge of the sound exit opening. <IMAGE>
