PURPOSE:To enable photometry and stroboscopic light control with one light reception part by utilizing finder light by deciding whether or not stroboscopic light needs to be emitted from a light signal and switching a light reception signal to the photometry as photographic preprocessing and the stroboscopic light control in photography. CONSTITUTION:The finder light which is incident on a finder 8 from an object 1 is split into two by a mirror 9; and one split light beam is received with the eye of a photographer and the other is received by a photodetector 10. The light reception signal of the photoelector 10 is inputted to a photometry and light control circuit 11 and converted by a conversion part 19 into a voltage signal, which is sent to a photometry part 20 and a light control part 23 and further inputted to a CPU 13. Then the light emission decision control part in the CPU decides whether or not the stroboscopic light needs to be emitted and outputs the result to an exposure control part. thus, the light reception signal of one light reception part is switched and used for the photometry and stroboscopic light control, so exposure control and the stroboscopic light control can be performed by utilizing the finder light. |
