PURPOSE:To reduce manual operation members and to facilitate operation by automatically setting either a paper size selecting mode or a copying magnification selecting mode through the use of a mode setting means when only either a magnification manually selecting means or a paper size manually selecting means is set in an automatic mode. CONSTITUTION:A detecting means 14 detects which is selected the magnification manually selecting means 12 or the paper size manually selecting means 11 when being set in an automatic selecting mode by an automatic selection mode selecting means 13; the mode setting means 16 sets a mode which automatically selects a paper size when the magnification manually setecting means 12 is selected in the automatic mode, and also sets a mode which automatically sets a copying magnification when the paper size manually selecting means 11 is selected in the automatic mode. This reduces manual operation members and facilitates operation. |
