PURPOSE:To provide a sour composition useful as a medicine or food by comprising a gummy substance originated from a Plantago plant and a sour agent such as tartaric acid. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprises a gummy substance originated from a Plantago plant (preferably originated from the tastae of Plantago ovata), a sour agent preferably consisting of tartaric acid preferably in an amount of <=15wt.% and, if necessary, other additives (preferably a saccharide) preferably in a foam of powder or granules. |
