<p>The invention relates to apparatuses for visualising the human body. The invention is based on the fact that the arch 15 supporting the source-detector assembly is mounted pivoting about the axis 18 on a carriage 17. This carriage is movable on a column 19 whose lower end pivots about a shaft 20 mounted on a seat 21. The seat 21 moves on a rail 22 on the ground. In another variant, the seat 21 pivots about a vertical axis. This set of movements permits the displacement of the isocentre along any desired curve.
