PURPOSE:To obtain the subject resin having excellent heat-resistance, thermal aging resistance, chemical resistance, weather resistance, etc., by thermally reacting a copolymer of ethylene and a cycloolefin, a copolymer of ethylene, an alpha-olefin and a cycloolefin and an organic peroxide. CONSTITUTION:The objective resin is produced by mixing (A) a random copolymer having a softening temperature (TMA) of >=70 deg.C and composed of an ethylene component and a cycloolefin component of formula (R<1>-R<12> are H, hydrocarbon group or halogen; R<9> and R<10> or R<11> and R<12> may together form a bivalent hydrocarbon group or form a ring; n is 0 or positive integer), (B) a random copolymer, etc., having a glass transition temperature (Tg) of <=0 deg.C and composed of an ethylene component, another alpha-olefin component and a cycloolefin component of formula and (C) an organic peroxide and reacting the components under a condition to decompose the component C. |
