PURPOSE:To dispense with a situation that a user winds a band with an electrode around his forehead in use by mounting an electrode for taking in a brain wave like electric signal from a finger. CONSTITUTION:A bio-feedback apparatus is equipped with an electrode 1(10) for taking in a brain wave like electric signal from a finger. An earth 11 is provided to the electrode while the electrode is connected to a main body through a cord 12. The electrode 1 collects the electric signal from a living body and the collected weak electric signal is amplified by an amplifier 2 and unnecessary noise is removed by a filter 3. A frequency selector 4 selects only a necessary frequency component from the electric signal from which noise is removed to take out the same. A control part 5 performs necessary data processing on the basis of the intensity data in usually three or more obtained frequencies and supplies a signal, for example, to an output device such as a display device. By this method, since it is unnecessary that a user winds a band with electrode around his forehead in use, it is eliminated that a psychological oppressive sensation due to 'a brain wave is measured' is given. |
