1. Pushbutton-type keyboard switch comprising a base part (keyboard switch housing 20; 30; 60) and a keytop (26; 36; 66) projecting over the base part which is guided vertically outside along the base part and which comprises a centrally disposed part (plunger 25; 35; 65) which is guided internally parallel to the external guiding device in a central recess (guide 13; 53) of the base part, characterized in that the projecting part of the keytop (26; 36; 66) is guided only in the lower edge area (slide cams 28; 38; 68) and the plunger (25; 35; 65) is guided in the central recess of the base part (pushbutton switch housing 20; 30; 60) only at the upper edge of said recess (guide 23; 33; 63), the guiding device (guide 23; 33; 63 and slide cams 28; 38; 68) of the inner and outer guiding device being of short length in the actuation direction, and that there is a distance between the guide means of the inner and outer guiding device of the keytop (26; 36; 66) in the direction of actuation.
