A two-pole differential circuit breaker is formed by the side by side modular assembly of a differential trigger unit (12) to a circuit-breaker unit (14). The large lateral face (68) of the trigger unit (12) possesses an aperture (70) for passing, and grooves (88, 90) for fixing the electrical connection conductors (72, 74) of the trigger unit (12) to the circuit-breaker unit (14).
