<p>The invention relates to the field of chemotherapy. It concerns pharmaceutical compositions which ensure the regeneration of T4 lymphocytes or an increase in their number in subjects exhibiting an immuno-deficiency syndrome, the compositions containing, as the active principle, 9-amino-1,2,3,4- tetrahydroacridine or one of its salts or one of its biological precursors.
