PURPOSE:To prevent increase of fog and deterioration of image density by fixing a silica powder to the surfaces of colored resin particles by means of mechanical impact to form toner particles and again adding the silica powder to the surfaces of the toner particles without fixing it to them. CONSTITUTION:0.05 - 5pts.wt. of the silica powder B having a particle diameter of 0.002 - 0.2mum is fixed to the surfaces of 100pts.wt. of the colored resin particles A by means of mechanical impact, and moreover, 0.013 - 3pts.wt. of the silica powder without being fixed to them having a particles diameter of 0.005 - 0.2mum is added to 100pts.wt. of the toner particles having thus formed by fixing the powder, thus permitting the obtained developer for developing the electrostatic charge image to be improved in fluidity, high in image density, small in fog and deterioration, and capable of forming good images even at the time of successive making a large number of copies. |
