PURPOSE:To provide the toner which is small in grain size, narrowed in the grain size distribution and maintain the balance of offsetting and fixability by providing a colored layer consisting of a resin for coating of core particles and coloring agent and a shell layer consisting of a resin for coating of the colored layer on the core particles. CONSTITUTION:The core particles are provided with the colored layer consisting of at least the resin for coating of the core particles and the coloring agent and the shell layer consisting of at least the resin for coating of the colored layer. A spherical resin consisting of a single grains size and having the property to exhibit a monodispese state is preferably used for the core particles which are the center of the multilayered structure and the monodisperse spherical resin is exemplified by the additinal polymer and the polymerizable monomer of this raw material is exemplified by a vinyl monomer, etc. The resin used for the colored layer and the shell layer is exemplified by, for example, a styrene resin, etc. The toner which is small in the grain size, can be narrowed in the grain size distribution and can maintain the balance of the fixability and the offsettability is maintained in this way. |
