PURPOSE:To omit a diagnostic check circuit set in each collation circuit, to eliminate the need for duplexing to the collation circuit, and to omit the user of a memory which stores the diagnostic data by diagnosing the data in the idle state of the collation circuit. CONSTITUTION:When the number of collation data (F data) is decreased down to zero and one of collation circuits 3a-3n becomes idle at transfer of the F data, the transferred F data stored in a memory 1 is transferred to the idle collation circuit. The collation circuit that received the F data also performs a normal collating action, and this collating action is defined as the diagnostic collation. The information which shows whether each of circuits 3a-3n is carrying out the normal collation or the diagnostic collation as well as the information on the collating result are outputted to a deciding circuit 4 via a signal line 10. The circuit 4 decides whether 2 diagnostic collation results or above are equal to each other or not and outputs a decision signal 11. The result of this collation is used by the devices set at the following stages via a bus 9. Thus the increase of the hardware quantity can be suppressed at the diagnosis of a collation circuit. |
